COOP Training

Tatweer Building Company offers training opportunities in all majors for a limited number of Saudi students who excel in universities in the Kingdom. This program is an important part of the company's talent management initiatives and a key element of its recruitment strategy. It aims to help participants gain practical experience and meet the graduation requirements from their universities. Participants will be evaluated at the end of the program to determine their total scores of training hours required from universities.

Eligibility

The people who are eligible to enrol in this program are students who their universities require them to exercise their practical training before they graduate, where applications are considered based on the availability of vacancies and the following criteria:

  • Applicants must be Saudi nationals.
  • Applicants must be nominated by their universities and their cumulative GPA is not less than 2.5/4 or 3.5/5. Priority shall be given to candidates with high GPAs.
  • The training period required from the university must be at least 4 months and the training should be five days a week.
  • Applicants must complete the entire training period.
  • The applicant must have an excellent level of spoken and written English.
  • Pass the personal interviews.

Required Documents

Candidates for this program must submit the following documents:

  • Copy of national ID card.
  • A copy of the final official transcript.
  • A letter from the university stating that the COOP program is a graduation requirements and explains the purpose and scope of the training.

Program Objectives

The program is designed to meet the following objectives:

  • Provide students with an opportunity to enrich their university experience by linking academic studies with actual practical situations. Students will also have the opportunity to assess their professional interests in their field of specialization.
  • Enable colleges and universities to assess the academic preparation of their students through the Student COOP Program Report, oral statements, and job evaluation reports. Such assessments help colleges and universities ensure that academic training is effective in preparing students for their future careers.
  • Provide students with the opportunity to acquire new skills and to acquaint them to innovative thinking and enable them to practice problem-solving and decision-making skills.
