The General Administration of Education in the Eastern Region has completed the preparation of school buildings to accommodate 500,000 male and female students in 1,627 schools with the start of the new academic year 1444 AH beginning next Safar.
The official spokesman for the Education of the Eastern Region, Saeed Al-Bahes, explained that the General Administration of Education in the region has carried out all cleaning and maintenance of educational buildings, providing seats and tables for students, following up on the disbursement of operational budgets and the arrival of school courses, noting that parents should take the initiative and register in the school transport service for male and female students.
He pointed out that Eastern Education is operating a number of new schools in the various governorates and cities of the Eastern Province, with a capacity of 6,420 male and female students, comprising 214 classrooms, in addition to all service facilities that support the educational process inside the school.
In conclusion, the Director of Education, Dr. Sami Al Otaibi, expressed his sincere thanks to His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, and His Deputy, His Royal Highness Prince Ahmed bin Fahd bin Salman bin Abdulaziz “may God preserve them” for their continuous support and interest in the educational community In the region, which had a great impact in achieving the desired goals, and thanks are extended to His Excellency the Minister of Education and the leaders of the Ministry for their tireless work to develop the map of the educational system, and to all employees of the educational community, and education partners, considering education is everyone’s responsibility.
