His Excellency the Minister of Education, Dr. Hamad bin Muhammad Al Al-Sheikh, inaugurated the new building of TBC in the presence of His Excellency the Assistant Minister of Education Dr. Saad Al Fahid, the CEO of TBC, Eng. Fahd bin Ibrahim Al Hammad, and several education officials.
In his keynote speech during a ceremony held on this occasion, His Excellency highly valued the efforts of the wise leadership, may Allah protect them, in developing the educational process in the Kingdom, noting the partnership between the Ministry of Education and TBC, which plays a vital role in developing a paradigm shift in the school buildings over the recent years.
He also explained that this partnership comes within the Ministry's strategy to develop the educational environment and to provide the best in building technologies, indicating that the goal is to provide an optimal educational environment for students and the teaching staff, which contributes to strengthening the relationship of students, teachers and administrative staff at schools, while enhancing their educational outcomes.
Dr. Al-Sheikh also affirmed that the Ministry of Education will constantly work with TBC to better achieve the Ministry's objectives in constructing model educational buildings in all regions and governorates, according to the highest specifications and standards, relying on the Saudi expertise that leads TBC towards the excellence and creativity we aspire to.
His Excellency added that the Ministry of Education draws on TBC to shoulder its responsibilities and roles in the construction of school and educational buildings and administrative facilities of the Ministry with high quality and for an appropriate period of time, spelling out that the inauguration of the new headquarters is an opportunity to sharpen the enthusiasm of those in charge of TBC in making more efforts to better complete the projects assigned to it.
On his side, the CEO of TBC, Eng. Fahad Al-Hammad, commended the generous support provided by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Highness the Crown Prince, may Allah protect and safeguard them, and the full support of the Ministry of Education under the leadership of His Excellency the Minister of Education to implement the TBC projects, stressing that TBC seeks to achieve the strategy of the Ministry of Education in creating an educational environment that stimulates creativity for prosperity and progress in the education sector.
He also pointed out that the inauguration of the new headquarters of TBC will represent a new start for this national entity, with all the employees keen to fulfill the roles and responsibilities, which they are mandated and entrusted with, indicating that with the growth of the TBC business and the diversity of its business activities, work has been set in motion to establish the building to help its employees complete their work in a supporting and stimulating environment to implement the tasks and projects assigned to TBC.
Equally important, Al-Hammad also remarked that Eight years have passed since the start of the company, which has been filled with the resonating achievements and projects, and the experiences it gained and made it a national destination for educational facilities, after making resounding successes in assuming the responsibility of managing the implementation of 1141 educational buildings for the Ministry of Education, serving more than 600 thousand students, and the maintenance and cleaning of 7099 schools and the restoration, rehabilitation and emergency maintenance of 1596 school buildings throughout the Kingdom, and school and administrative supply, furnishing and equipment contracts with a value exceeding SAR 700 million, TBC has been able to save more than 20%.
His Excellency the Minister of Education was also briefed on the facilities and units of the new building and the services provided in the company's divisions (TBC).
