His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah Region, endowed today , on a number of new educational projects in the region, implemented in the neighborhoods of “Shuran, Al-Tilal and Al-Hijrah”, as part of the “Taiba without Rented Buildings” initiative, which was launched in 1439 AH, and in which the percentage of rented educational buildings in the region reduced from 46% to 22%
His Highness was briefed on the volume of works implemented, and listened to a full explanation of the projects implemented in the region for early childhood, new schools, as well as the mechanism for dealing with faltering projects, as Tatweer Company also gave a presentation on the projects under implementation assigned to it by the Ministry, which will end all charter schools during the next three years
His Highness also inaugurated the Labeed bin Rabi’a Early Childhood Complex, which includes Fatima Al-Zahraa Elementary School, a kindergarten, a children’s center and a training center for female students.
His Highness watched samples of the educational classrooms and the gymnasium, where the complex includes 28 classrooms, benefiting 980 male and female students, and corners of the kindergarten, in which 90 boys and girls benefit, a learning resource center to enrich the knowledge of male and female students, a multi-purpose hall for all physical and cultural activities, in which the residents of the neighborhood also benefit, during the evening period within the community activities of the neighborhood club, in addition to a school laboratory.
His Highness witnessed the delivery of "Tatweer" company, during the visit, sixteen projects for the additional completed classes for addressing student density in eight neighborhoods in the city.
After that, he stood at the implementation headquarters of the “Al-Haramain Educational Complex” project under construction, and viewed the project model, which consists of three school buildings for the “elementary, intermediate and secondary” stages for boys, consisting of 90 classrooms distributed over the three stages, accommodat more than 3150 students, with a value exceeding For 34 million riyals, this complex serves three large neighborhoods in the region, which are "Al-Ranonaa, Al-Tilal and Al-Sakub".
For his part, the Director-General of Education in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah Region, Nasser Al-Abdulkarim, expressed his thanks to the wise leadership - may Allah support it - and Highness the Governor of the region and His Highness ’s Deputy, for their support for education and their continuous follow-up to the development of education in the region. He also thanked His Excellency the Minister of Education for his efforts in addressing many of the challenges that faced Facing education projects, pointing out that the plan to dispense with rented buildings is going according to what was planned.
