TBC supports private education with multiple services via Education Investment Center
The Education Investment Center has strengthened its services for private education through 3 stages with 5 distinctive services to enhance investment in the private public education sector, including logistical support, foreign investor service, investment polarization, as well as communication between educational professionals.
The center is designed in three stages, in which the first is the pre-investment phase that includes studying the market needs to provide investors with documented information on areas where the demand for private education is increasing, as well as the development of regulations and procedures to facilitate the issuance of licenses and speed up their procedures, and the second phase is during investment and includes connecting investors with the specialized authorities, either public or private, while the third phase after investment focuses on logistics services, including training courses, workshops and exhibitions, with a unified path to complete special procedures. by investing in this area.
The Center has created 5 integrated services for investment in private education, which is a "Tarkhees” service to facilitate the licensing procedures, and "Estifadah" service that works on raising the utilization rates of private schools benefiting from privately owned educational facilities, and "Etimad" service which is responsible for accrediting private schools designs for investors wishing to establish educational buildings, and has allocated "Tadaroj" service to increase the efficiency of non-educational parental education buildings and eliminate the unfit, while "Estithmar” service includes several courses to benefit of some of the land and property owned by the Ministry of Education to be rented by investors of the private education sector.
The services and programs of the Education Investment Services Center have contributed to the strengthening of the private education sector by establishing an immediate electronic account for each investor and direct linking with "Watheq” service, which aims to inquire about current records data and the national address to obtain details of the sites of the facilities, adopt engineering designs electronically easily and quickly, and issue a guide to design standards and accreditation procedures for the original educational buildings.
These distinctive measures of the Center's services have completed many steps towards increasing support for private education by issuing more than 3,000 licenses, the completion of 243 asset leases owned by the Ministry of Education and the adoption of 591 engineering designs for private schools, reflected in improving the educational environment stimulating creativity and innovation and providing multiple options for investors in this area, which helps to strengthen the role of the private sector in the development process in accordance with the Kingdom’s vision 2030.
It is worth noting that TBC, which started its work in the first quarter of 2013, is the company responsible for implementing the projects of the Ministry of Education, and works mainly on providing a safe, high-quality and advanced educational environment.
