The General Administration of Education in Jeddah has completed its preparation for the start of the next academic year, and the reception of students, creating the appropriate school environment, providing all technical and human capabilities, securing school equipment, and performing the necessary maintenance and repair of school buildings.
The Director General of Jeddah education, Dr. Nayef Al-Zari, explained that all departments concerned with preparing for the new academic year are working from an early time to complete the tasks entrusted to them in accordance with the approved preparedness plans.
For its part, the Buildings Department, in coordination with TATWEER Buildings Company , completed the maintenance work of a number of schools, as 21 work teams were assigned for maintenance, and 30 technical work teams were assigned to maintain air conditioners, and the installation of new air conditioners in 90 schools, as 11 work teams were assigned for this.
As part of the preparedness plan, the School Department of equipment and the department of Warehouse worked to follow up the arrival and the bringing of textbooks for all academic levels according to a specific time plan to ensure that all male and female students received the books from the first day of school. The sites for implementing school laboratories maintenance were handed over to the contractor concerned with the maintenance of 58 school laboratories. And working on preparing 44 classrooms for kindergartens and securing 4,100 tables and chairs for schools.
The Directorate General for teachers has also worked to complete the internal transportation of the incumbents of educational jobs and Fill the demand in schools before the beginning of the school year.
