TBC continues work on more than 155 projects in Kingdom regions
TBC the government company wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund and the arm implementing the Ministry of Education projects continued to operate in a number of areas of the Kingdom on projects assigned to it by the Ministry during the past period, so that the pace of delivery would not be affected, while precautionary measures are being taken at the job sites.
The company successfully resumed work on 64 initiatives, including 27 kindergarten projects, 37 KG projects.
It has also been able to continue the restoration and rehabilitation of 21 projects: Four in Jazan, two in Makkah, nine in Medina, four in Jeddah governorate, and two in the Eastern Province.
On construction projects, TBC continued field work to establish 70 projects: Two in Jeddah governorate, 17 projects in Riyadh, 38 projects in Sabiya governorate, and 12 in-depth projects that continued to operate during that period.
The TBC has developed a strict plan for precautionary measures to prevent the infection of Corona virus, according to measures announced by the Ministry of Health, which it has observed being committed by its crews, as well as by partner contractors, at the workplace.
The company's on-site precautionary plan is based on four requirements: Visual screening of all project personnel by the start of the day, where temperature is measured and recorded in a daily log, and if it exceeds 37.8 degrees, the worker is immediately isolated and notified to the competent authorities.
The precautionary plan also includes a commitment to leave at least 2 meters of safe working space, a commitment to wear guards and follow safety procedures, and reporting in the event of known symptoms of injury to a worker or employee.
TBC, which began operations in the first quarter of 2013, is the company responsible for implementing the Ministry of Education projects and is primarily working to provide a safe, high-quality and advanced educational environment.
