His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Madinah Region, appreciated the announcement made by TBC for the launch of the second group of the executive program for the initiative to strengthen partnership with the private sector to finance, build and maintain 60 schools in Al-Madinah.
His Royal Highness affirmed the great efforts of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may Allah protect and safeguard him, and the great interest in education, allocating generous support to raise the level of the public education sector outputs, and providing all material and human potentials that contribute to building generations of citizens who actively participate in the comprehensive development progress for the Kingdom. Equally important, His Royal Highness also expressed his appreciation for His Excellency Minister of Education, Dr. Hamad Al Al-Sheikh, for his continued follow-up to various educational projects in fulfillment of the directives of the rulers, may Allah protect them, for providing a safe, high-quality and advanced educational environment.
On his part, Director of TBC, Eng. Fahad Al-Hammad spelled out that the said projects, which include financing, construction, and maintenance of 60 educational buildings in Al-Madinah, are projects of construction and maintenance of the initiative to strengthen partnership with the private sector to provide educational buildings. They will be implemented over the next four-year period to include financing, design, construction, and facilities management according to the latest specifications and designs, which will cover the region’s need in such a way as to do without many rented buildings. To this effect, it aims to create an appropriate learning environment, indicating that upon completion of this project, 1,440 classrooms with a student capacity will be provided for more than 50,000 students, in addition to disposing of 138 rented buildings.
