The Director-General of Education in Taif, Talal bin Mubarak Al-Lehaibi, launched today "the Early Childhood Center" in Al-Faisaliah, in the presence of his assistants for school, education, and support service affairs, the CEO of TBC in the Western Sector and a number of engineers and technicians, after TBC completed the refurbishment of the Center building.
Al-Lehaibi toured the building, which consists of 3 floors and 30 classrooms, and has a capacity of 900 kindergarten and early childhood students, in addition to many offices and facilities which correspond to the kindergarten and early childhood stage educationally, mentally, scientifically. He was also provided with a visual presentation about the refurbishment stages of the building.
The building refurbishment cost about SAR 2,900,000 and is such an edifice and a distinct model, par excellence, in Taif for early childhood centers around the region and beyond.
The Director-General of Education in Taif affirmed that the development of early childhood is a strategic option to keep up with future visions and great aspirations that the Ministry of Education seeks to achieve in support of national transformation programs and the Kingdom's Vision 2030. This will help in further developing the education system, learning outcomes, and early childhood education. Equally important, it will also help in raising the efficiency of school buildings and making use of the resources available to better create an attractive and conducive educational environment that provides all the necessary educational supplies and supporting school facilities.
