Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mish'al bin Majed bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jeddah, TBC launched 15 educational projects in North Jeddah with all its facilities from gymnasiums and grass playgrounds. It is considered the first of the 42 projects in the first phase in Jeddah. The rest of the projects will be launched over the next two weeks at a total cost of SR 527 million. This comes in line with the directives of the wise leadership and the Ministry of Education plan to keep pace with the Kingdom’s vision of 2030, which seeks to develop the educational environment and forgoing rented buildings in various neighbourhoods of Jeddah.
TBC has sought with the Education Department in Jeddah to distribute these projects in neighbourhoods of higher need in North Jeddah, including neighbourhoods in AlRiyadh, AlSalahiyah, Albashayer, and Northern Abhur. Model designs have been developed with a stimulating and comfortable learning environment for students in light of the country’s educational policy to provide high quality buildings that encourage creativity and innovation, and raise the skills and abilities of the education staff. The completion of these projects will relieve pressure on existing schools and it will increase the capacity of these neighbourhoods. TBC thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince on their support for the education, and his advisor Prince of Makkah and His Deputy and the Governor of Jeddah for their continued interest in supporting the educational process. The company also thanked the Minister of Education for his support and continuous follow-up in providing with suitable and modern school environment and equipped with all the attractive and stimulating educational and technical requirements for teaching and learning.
